<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, October 12, 1964.
<br />
<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich,
<br />Grauel and Shields.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1059
<br />determining necessity to transact public business on Columbus
<br />Day be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of October S, 1964, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Goodrich Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 1060
<br />amending the assessment rolls for consolidated water improve-
<br />ments 62-2, 64-4, 64-5 and 64-6 be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />Goodrich Moved, Shields Seconded, that Resolution No. 1061
<br />adopting the amended assessment rolls for consolidated water
<br />improvements 62-2, 64-4, 64-5 and 64-6 be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />The Mayor opened the meeting by stating this was an assessment
<br />hearing called pursuant to Minnesota Statutes on a, public
<br />improvement regarding Long Lake Road, County Road B-2 and
<br />St. Croix Street Street Improvement.
<br />
<br />The Mayor called on the Village Clerk to produce the notice of
<br />publication and certificate of mailing notices to property owners
<br />in the improvement.
<br />
<br />Mr. Turnlund, the Village Clerk, produced an affidavit of publi-
<br />cation indicating notice of public hearing was published in the
<br />official newspaper of the Village, the Suburban Life, on September
<br />16, 1964. This notice read:

<br />NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR LONG LAKE ROAD,
<br />COUNTY ROAD B-2, ST. CROIX STREET STREET IMPROVEMENT, VILLAGE OF
<br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA.
<br />
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, will meet at the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, in
<br />said village, on October 12, 1964, at 7:30 oGclock p.m. to consider
<br />the proposed assessment for Long Lake Road, County Road B-2, St. Croix
<br />Street Street Improvement, under and pursuant to the provisions of
<br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The proposed assessment roll is on
<br />file with the Village Clerk and open to public inspection at the
<br />Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, St. Paul 13, Minnesota.
<br />Written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be
<br />considered at the time and place stated above.
<br />
<br />The general nature of Long Lake Road, County Road B-2, St. Croix
<br />Street Street Improvement consists of the making of improvements on
<br />the following described sites:
