Trunk Highway 35-W Area - Commencing at a point on the west line of Northeast quarter (1/4) of the Southeast quarter (1/4) of Section 8, T. 29, R 23, said point lying 825 feet north of south line of said quarter quarter (1/4 1/4); thence easterly parallel to and 825 feet distant from said South line approximately 830 feet to the westerly line of Trunk Highway 35-W; thence southerly and westerly along the northwesterly line of Trunk Highway 35-W approximately 1080 feet to the west line of said quarter quarter (1/4 1/4); thence northerly along said west line 495 feet to a point lying 825 feet north of the South line of said quarter quarter (l/4 1/4) which is the point of beginning. Turn lund, Village Clerk Mr. Turnlund also produced an affidavit of mailing the assessment notice to all property owners appearing on the County Treasurer's tax roll within 30 days prior to the assessment hearing. The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consider- ation of objections, if any, to said proposed assessments. All persons present were then given an opportunity to present oral objections, and all written objections theretofore filed with the Village Clerk were presented and considered. and all such objections were tabulated as follows: Mr. Thomas Willmus, 3061 North Hamline: Objected to the manner in which the property is being assessed. Referred to their property located at 2480 North Cleveland. The north part of this tract is involved in about 100 feet of high line and pipe line easements and will not be able to have a connection and there will be no buildings on it. After a discussion of the comments and objections the assessment hearing was closed.
