After reading of the notice, <br />all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard, and <br />the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the <br /> <br />Council, and the substance of the views presented by them, were <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />MR. HARVEY OGREN, 2653 Galtier: Said he was in favor of <br /> <br />construction of storm sewer on County Road C but wanted to know <br />why it h~d to becoAstruct~d:on Iona lane. ~ <br /> <br />REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ST. PAUL LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL, 2400 <br />North Dale: Had received a notice of the hearing but is included <br />in the area discussed at the hearing the previous evening. <br /> <br />MR. ED1!\'ARD J. ADAMS, 556 W. County Road C: Quest ions re <br />drainage. <br /> <br />MR. WILLIAM B. NOLAN, 2646 Galtier: Question regarding <br />drainage of a pond. <br /> <br />MR. JAMES L. KING, 396 w. County Road C: Opposed to the <br />improvement because of no benefit. Also presented a letter in <br />opposition to the improvement from Mr. NORBERT PEKA, 384 W.. County <br />Road C. <br /> <br />MR. ARNOLD OLSEN, 2772 Marion: Question regarding drainage. <br />Opposed to the improvement because the benefits are not worth <br />the cost. <br /> <br />MR. THOWlAS 1,VILLMUS, 3f'61 North Hamline (representing Wil:'mus <br />Propert ies) : Opposed to the improvement. Asked ho'v the leve 1 of <br />the holding pond would be maintained or how the holding pond itself <br />would be maintained. Als~ wanted to know if the pond would be <br />fenced. If any additional water comes on to their property through <br />this pond, they will seek damages from the village. <br /> <br />The following communications were received: <br /> <br />MR. NORBERT PEKA, 384 W. County Road C: Objects to paying <br />any additional taxes and, therefore, is opposed to the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. JOE L. MOGG, 474 W. County Road C: No benefit to <br />property and objects to paying assessments. <br /> <br />lhere being no further persons desiring to be heard, the <br />hearing closed. <br />
