the effect of the storm water in Lake Josephine.

MR. ROBERT CARRIER, 2680 Hamline: 90% of his drainage is
to the back of his property and the improvement would be of no
benefit to him. Further said that none of his water would ever
go into any improvement because it all soaks into the ground.

MR. ROBERT MEYER, 1389 Rambler Road: Question about an
old easement which allowed natural drainage from the shopping
canter.

MR. BARRY PETERSON, 2726 Merrill (Spoke before): He and his
neighbors should be excluded from the improvement because they
will receive no benefit. The shopping center will benefit and
those people should pay for the improvement.

MR. LAWRENCE DILL, 1261 W. County Road C-2: Asked how
the boundaries for the improvement were determined. Commented
that there is a jog in the boundary line which appears to have
been put there to take in his property.

MR. EUGENE VALLEY, 2909 Sheldon (spoke before): Asked
what the value of his property would be after the assessment is
made. He will gain nothing from the improvement. The only
drainage he has is from his blacktop driveway and there has
never been water in basements in his area. Also asked a question
about the location of the storm sewer mains.

A communication indicating approval of the improvement was
submitted by John E. Daubney, Attorney at Law, in behalf of H.
and Val J. Rothschild and Mr. t~1illiam Weitzman, the developer,
who own the vacant land across the street from the Hamline
Shopping Center.

The hearing adjourned at 8:45 o'clock P.M. and the Mayor

announced that a decision would be made by the Council at a

future Council meeting.
