Cedarholm closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />The Mayor reopened the public hearing on Improvement 67-15, 67-16 <br />and 67-17. <br /> <br />The Engineer reported that he had gone over the proposed assessments <br />and that the only alteration possilJle \lias the inclusion of a side yard <br />assessment on those properties fronting on [,Iinnesota Avenue. <br /> <br />FRANK WEISS. 1224 ~-1atilda. St. Paul, Hinn. ~ property owner petitioning <br />for the improvement indicated that he did not favor going ahead with the <br />improvement if the assessment did not include the side yard of Minnesota <br />Avenue. <br />MR. M. HAIDER, 329 r,1innesota Avenue. Stated he was one of the property <br />owners fronting on ~1innesota Avenue and he \Vas abso lute ly opposed to <br />any sideyard assessment. He agreed he would pay assessment on any builde <br />able lot that is visible from his back yard, but did not wish to pay any <br />assessment on the sideyard of his property fronting on Minnesota. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the public hearing on Improvement <br />67-15,67-16 and 67-17 be continued until August 14,1967. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request for rezoning, special <br />use permit and variances for lHUmus Properties at 1400 Terrace Drive <br />be approved with the conditions stated in the Planning Commission re- <br />commendation dated .June 9, 1967, Roll Call, Ayes (4) = Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, that the setback variance requested by 1.lr. Gorman at <br />2921 Galtier be approved. Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Grauel r.10ved, Shields Seconded, that the request by Mr. Gorman for <br />setback variance on property at 2921 Galtier Street be continued <br />until the meeting of July 24, 1967. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the xequest of Otto N. Esch Supply <br />and Equipment Company for special use at 2365 West Highway 36 be <br />approved with the conditions recommended by the Planning Commission <br />in their report dated July 10, 1967.
