<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council - August 14, 1967. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Councilmen Grauel, Goodrich, <br />Shields and Curley. <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting <br />of July 24, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm made the following proclamation on Willing Water <br />Week: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville is deeply aware that its <br />residents are dependent, for their health, comfort and <br />standard of living upon an abundant supply of safe, high <br />quality water; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the future economic and social growth of this community <br />is directly related to the availability of dependable supplies <br />of good water; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the American Water Works Association, which is dedicated <br />to advancing the knowledge of design, operation, and manage- <br />ment of water utilities throughout the United States and <br />Canada, has asked that a special period be designated during <br />which each water utility bring its message to the people; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, WILLING WATER, the symbol of public water service is pre- <br />sent to help the Roseville Utilities Division tell the people <br />of our Village about the vital role played by this utilitYi <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is equally important that the people of this community <br />become aware of the needs of the Roseville Utilities Division <br />and the tasks that face it in the future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the American Water Works Association has designated the <br />week of August 13 to August 19 as a period during which special <br />attention should be focused on the water utilities of the <br />United States and Canada; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Emil F. Cedarholm, Mayor of Roseville, do hereby <br />proclaim the week of August 13, 1967, as WILLING WATER WEEK <br />and sincerely urge all citizens to join with me in developing <br />a wider understanding of the contributions, the services, and <br />the future needs of the Roseville Utilitie~ Division. <br /> <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand, on this 14th day <br />of August, 1967. <br /> <br />s/s Emil F.
