<br />-2- <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm opened the public hearing on Improvement 67-26. <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of <br />notice of hearing on proposed Street Improvement 67-26 in accord- <br />ance with the resolution adopted ,1uly 10, 1967, which affidavit <br />was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be <br />filed by the Manager. The Village Manager also exhibited a <br />Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to aU affected property <br />owners, which affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory <br />and was directed to be filed by the Manager. <br /> <br />The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the description of <br />the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvement <br />and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated in the <br />published notice of hearing. After reading the notice, all <br />persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard, and the <br />following appeared: (A petition was also filed against the <br />improvement by eight property owners.) <br /> <br />ELMER B. Spoke against the improvement. <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that proposed Street Improvement <br />67-26 be denied. Roll Call, Ayes (5) . Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the petition submitted for <br />rezoning from R.l to R-6 of property in Western Hills Addition #4 <br />just north of County Road C be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Altman & Huiras request for <br />rezoning and special use permit on County Road C between Snelling <br />Avenue and Snelling Curve be laid over until the meeting of <br />August 28, 1967. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the application submitted <br />by Raymond Wewers for relocation of a house from 2355 North Rice <br />Street to 193 West Grandview be approved as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission in their letter dated July 10, 1967. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm reopened the public hearing on Improvement 67-15, <br />67-16 and 67-17 which was continued from the meeting of June 19, 1967. <br />After discussion the public hearing was closed and the following <br />motion made: <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the proposed Improvement <br />67-15, 67-16 and 67-17 be denied.
