<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Special Meeting of the Village Council - April 1. 1968. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Acting Mayor Grauel. Councilmen Curley. <br />Linebarger and Shields. Absent: Mayor Moll. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publica- <br />tion of Notice of Hearing on proposed Improvement No. 67-39 in <br />accordance with the resolution adopted March 11. 1968. which <br />affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and was <br />directed to be filed by the Manager. The Village Manager also <br />exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all <br />affected property owners, which certificate was examined and <br />found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the <br />Manager. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />67-39 <br /> <br />The Acting Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-39. <br /> <br />The Acting Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des- <br />cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the pro- <br />posed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor. <br />as stated in the published notice of hearing. After reading of <br />the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be <br />heard. and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and <br />heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented by <br />them were as follows: <br /> <br />MR. NEWTON HELD, 1752 Bruce: Asked if any properties on Bruce <br />Avenue are to be taxed. <br /> <br />MR. RALPH MARTINSON, representing the Dayton Development Co.: <br />In favor of the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. DAN BODLEY, 2586 North Fairview: Asked how the improvement <br />would affect Fairview Avenue. <br /> <br />After a discussion of the views presented by persons appearing <br />at the public hearing for Improvement No. 67-39 the hearing was <br />closed. <br /> <br />Curley Moved. Linebarger Seconded, that Resolution No. 2064 <br />ordering improvement No. 67-39 and calling for preparation of <br />plans be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Shields, Curley, Linebarger <br />and Grauel. Nays: None. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2064 <br /> <br />The Acting Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-28. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />67-28 <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication <br />of notice of hearing on proposed Improvement No. 67-28 in accord- <br />ance with the resolution adopted March 11, 1968, which affidavit <br />was examined and found to be satiSfactory and was directed to be <br />filed by the Manager.
