VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Special Meeting of the Village Council - April 1. 1968. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Acting Mayor Grauel. Councilmen Curley. Linebarger and Shields. Absent: Mayor Moll. 7:30 P.M. The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publica- tion of Notice of Hearing on proposed Improvement No. 67-39 in accordance with the resolution adopted March 11. 1968. which affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. The Village Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property owners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. PUBLIC HEARING IMPROVEMENT 67-39 The Acting Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-39. The Acting Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des- cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the pro- posed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor. as stated in the published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard. and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented by them were as follows: MR. NEWTON HELD, 1752 Bruce: Asked if any properties on Bruce Avenue are to be taxed. MR. RALPH MARTINSON, representing the Dayton Development Co.: In favor of the improvement. MR. DAN BODLEY, 2586 North Fairview: Asked how the improvement would affect Fairview Avenue. After a discussion of the views presented by persons appearing at the public hearing for Improvement No. 67-39 the hearing was closed. Curley Moved. Linebarger Seconded, that Resolution No. 2064 ordering improvement No. 67-39 and calling for preparation of plans be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Shields, Curley, Linebarger and Grauel. Nays: None. RESOLUTION NO. 2064 The Acting Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-28. PUBLIC HEARING IMPROVEMENT 67-28 The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of notice of hearing on proposed Improvement No. 67-28 in accord- ance with the resolution adopted March 11, 1968, which affidavit was examined and found to be satiSfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. The Village Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property owners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager.
