<br />=2", <br /> <br />The Acting Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des~ <br />cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed <br />improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor. as stated <br />in the published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, <br />all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heardf and the <br />names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the Council <br />and the substance of the views presented by them were as follows: <br /> <br />Representative of Blomberg ~ Zimmerman Company: Question re <br />proposed assessment. <br /> <br />MRo WILLIAM HOWERY. 1357 County Road B~2: Asked if the property <br />on the north side of County Road 8=2 would be assessed for the <br />street improvement. <br /> <br />MR. ARTHUR K:NEE, 2472 North Pascal: Presented a petition to the <br />Council from persons in the area between Snelling and Hamline and <br />adjacent to County Road B~2 requesting the village council to eliminate <br />the break in the frontage road at Pascal and establish the proposed <br />frontage road between Snelling and Hamline without any direct access <br />to County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Letter was presented from Mr. GLEN Jo JOHNSON~ 1535 W. County Road <br />B=2, for the Verde Haven Northview Association indicating that their <br />organization had adopted a motion on March 16 that the point of <br />access for future County Road B=2 be at Pascal Avenue. <br /> <br />MRo GLEN J. JOHNSON, 1535 No County Road B-2, president of the Verde <br />Haven Northview Association: He indicated that by a process of <br />elimination the motion had finally carried to have the access at <br />Pascal. <br /> <br />MR. ARTHUR MCNEE, 2474 North Pascal: The persons who had signed <br />the petition in opposition to the Pascal opening felt that if there <br />was traffic congestion. then at a later date the entrance could be <br />madeo <br /> <br />MRS. ROYDEN DANE. 1397 W. County Road B-2: Said that she and none of <br />her neighbors were approached about the Pascal Avenue access, Sheus <br />in favor of the accesso <br /> <br />MRo JON ROADFELDT. 1548 Sextant: Said he felt that another petition <br />could be obtained with the same number of signatures in favor of the <br />access. <br /> <br />MR, AUBREY HUNTER. 2466 North Pascal: Opposed to the Pascal Avenue <br />access because of the traffic in the area, <br /> <br />MR, W. J. O'ROURKE, 1364 Sextant: Objected to closing the Pascal <br />Avenue access because it would cause excess traffic on Sextanto <br /> <br />MR. WILLIAM HOWERY. 1357 County Road B~2: Thought that traffic <br />signs could control the flow of traffic if the Pascal Avemle access <br />is opened. In favor of the access. <br /> <br />MR.
