VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council - April 29, 1968. 7:30 P.M. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Shields, Grauel and Linebarger. Absent: Councilman Curley. Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of April 15, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Shields, Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None. MINtITE S Mayor Moll opened the public hearing on Improvement 68-12. PUBLIC HEARING IMPROVEMENT 68-12 The Acting Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of Notice of Hearing on proposed Improvement No. 68-12 in accordance with the resolution adopted April I, 1968, which affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Acting Manager. The Acting Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property owners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Acting Manager. The Mayor then directed the Acting Manager to read the des- cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the pro- posed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated in tile published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented by them were as follows: MRS. PAKOY, 490 W. County Road B: Asked if they would be assessed now and again when the county widens County Road B. r-m. FRANK LA NASA, 450 Bayview Drive, representing the Lake McCarrons Improvement Association. Opposed to any additional drainage into Lake McCarrons. MR. R. M. HOLMES, 455 Bayview: Asked if the area to be improved is presently draining into Lake McCarrons. Also discussed the possibili ty of the improvement increasing the ferti li ty of Lake McCarrons, and suggested that information be obtained to determine whether this would be the case. MR. EDWARD BOSSARD, 1738 Skillman Avenue W., representing 37 parcels of land in the improvement area. In favor of the improve- ment and said he felt it was long overdue. MR. CARL E. ZECHBAUER, 498 W. County RoadB: Asked if approval had been granted to Mr. Bossard and Mr. Nowicki to build apart- ments in tile area. He fe 1 t tiley were the only ones who would be benefi tted by the improvement. Before Mr. Bossard began building in the area they had no problems. Also wanted to know the proposed location of catch basins.
