<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - April 29, 1968. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Shields, Grauel and <br />Linebarger. Absent: Councilman Curley. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of April 15, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Shields, Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />MINtITE S <br /> <br />Mayor Moll opened the public hearing on Improvement 68-12. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />68-12 <br /> <br />The Acting Village Manager presented an affidavit showing <br />publication of Notice of Hearing on proposed Improvement No. <br />68-12 in accordance with the resolution adopted April I, 1968, <br />which affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and <br />was directed to be filed by the Acting Manager. The Acting <br />Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of <br />Hearing to all affected property owners, which certificate was <br />examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be <br />filed by the Acting Manager. <br /> <br />The Mayor then directed the Acting Manager to read the des- <br />cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the pro- <br />posed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, <br />as stated in tile published notice of hearing. After reading of <br />the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be <br />heard, and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and <br />heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented <br />by them were as follows: <br /> <br />MRS. PAKOY, 490 W. County Road B: Asked if they would be <br />assessed now and again when the county widens County Road B. <br /> <br />r-m. FRANK LA NASA, 450 Bayview Drive, representing the Lake <br />McCarrons Improvement Association. Opposed to any additional <br />drainage into Lake McCarrons. <br /> <br />MR. R. M. HOLMES, 455 Bayview: Asked if the area to be improved <br />is presently draining into Lake McCarrons. Also discussed the <br />possibili ty of the improvement increasing the ferti li ty of Lake <br />McCarrons, and suggested that information be obtained to determine <br />whether this would be the case. <br /> <br />MR. EDWARD BOSSARD, 1738 Skillman Avenue W., representing 37 <br />parcels of land in the improvement area. In favor of the improve- <br />ment and said he felt it was long overdue. <br /> <br />MR. CARL E. ZECHBAUER, 498 W. County RoadB: Asked if approval <br />had been granted to Mr. Bossard and Mr. Nowicki to build apart- <br />ments in tile area. He fe 1 t tiley were the only ones who would be <br />benefi tted by the improvement. Before Mr. Bossard began building <br />in the area they had no problems. Also wanted to know the proposed <br />location of catch basins. <br />
