Mr. Goodin asked if they would receive a benefit. It was <br />determined that the property for which they were being assessed <br />is owned by the state Highway Department. <br /> <br />~m. WAYNE WAKEFIELD, 2277 West Highway 36: Asked if there <br />would ~e complete drainage of the pond near Fulham. SUggest~d that <br />if the pond is not completely drained, it should be fenced. <br /> <br />MR. WILLI~~ BUSCH, attorney at law, Degree of Honor Building, <br />St. Paul, tiinnesota, representing Prestressed Concrete, Inc. <br />Parcel Nos. 010-05 and 110-02. Their objection to the assessment <br />of any part of this property at a rate higher than the general <br />area assessment rate of $102 an acre is based on the fact that all <br />its acreage lies north of and is served by storm sewers not <br />connected with or draining into the ponding area for which the <br />special pumping facilities and mains were installed. Mr. Busch <br />also presented a letter of objection to the Council. <br /> <br />MR. ROBERT JACKSON, 2395 West County Road C-~: Wanted to know <br />the entire cost of the improvement including that portion to be <br />paid by other municipalities. The drainage from his property <br />flows north eventually to a culvert along Highway 8 between County <br />Road C-2 and County Road D. If the drainage from west of Highway <br />8 also collects there, he wondered why that area was exempt from <br />assessments. <br /> <br />HR. ~~RVIN HANSEN, 2597 North Cleveland: Said he has no <br />drainage problem and doesn't believe the improvement will benefit <br />him in any way. <br /> <br />MR.
