Prior to a higher quality road than what we have got along
Fairview and Cleveland. I don't know what the intentions of the
engineering company are with regard to what size project they're
going to let, but from a contractor's point of view that's a
pre~ty small job and won't attract a great deal of attention
from the contracting industry. II Mr. Lametti further said be
feels the interior roads are being built before the access roads
are constructed. Asked when Fairview and Cleveland Avenues
would be up-graded. Thought this should be done before spending
a lot of money on interior roads. Mr. Goldberg commented that
by constructing the interior streets perhaps some pressure could
be put on those agencies who have authority over some of the
access streets.

MR. B. J. LOFTSGAARDEN: lilt is proposed for example on
Oakcrest, to run a storm sewer from here to here but then this
open ditch which fills up with water and so forth would be left
the way it is (Inaudible). Could this be a larger project so
we'd get the benefit of state aid, if there was some, and the
benefit of getting these roads upgraded so we'd have something
all the way around _II

MR. T. M. WIL~lUS: Asked if it was possible to extend
Oakcrest west of Fairview for a certain distance to get access
into his property which would solve his immediate problem.

Mayor Linebarger suggested that the affected property owners
meet with the the village Public Works Director and the village
consulting engineer.

Moved by Councilman Grauel, seconded by Councilman
Anderson that the hearing on Improvements 70-11, 12 and 13 be
continued to March 20, 1972 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. All in favor.
