The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des- cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated 1n the published notice of hear1ng. After reading of the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented by them were as follows: Improvement SS-W-P-72-l3 MR. LES HENDERSON, 792 Terrace Drive: Opposed to the improvement. Said he lives at the bottom of a hill and this improvement won't help his storm water problems. MR. GARY OLSON, 2635 Fisk: Raised several questions re- garding the speed ltmit and the tons that the road could handle and whether petroleum trucks would be using the road. His questions were answered by County Eng1neer Anklan who outlined the general principles of the county road system construction. Mr. Olson then asked questions regarding parking regulations and foliage and screening. He was opposed to the improvement. MR. NORMAN ROTH, 667 West county Road C: Spoke in favor of the project and said that the widening of the road would be an advantage. Suggested a small lateral to the settling pond. MR. JAMES BODSGARD, 720 West County Road C: Had a question regarding the grade change and whether water mains would be lowered. He indicated he waS open minded. MR. AL BANGERT, 792 West County Road C: Had questions regarding storm sewer service and whether curbing would control sand in the ditch. He indicated he was opposed to the project. MR. MARl( ZACZKOWSKI, 675 West County Road C: Suggested a small line to the settling area in the back yards and said he was in favor of the project.
