<br />The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des- <br /> <br />cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the <br /> <br />proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed <br /> <br />therefor, as stated 1n the published notice of hear1ng. <br /> <br />After reading of the notice, all persons present were <br /> <br />afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses <br /> <br />of the persons appearing and heard by the Council, and the <br /> <br />substance of the views presented by them were as follows: <br /> <br />Improvement SS-W-P-72-l3 <br /> <br />MR. LES HENDERSON, 792 Terrace Drive: Opposed to the <br />improvement. Said he lives at the bottom of a hill and this <br />improvement won't help his storm water problems. <br /> <br />MR. GARY OLSON, 2635 Fisk: Raised several questions re- <br />garding the speed ltmit and the tons that the road could handle <br />and whether petroleum trucks would be using the road. His <br />questions were answered by County Eng1neer Anklan who outlined <br />the general principles of the county road system construction. <br />Mr. Olson then asked questions regarding parking regulations and <br />foliage and screening. He was opposed to the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. NORMAN ROTH, 667 West county Road C: Spoke in favor of <br />the project and said that the widening of the road would be an <br />advantage. Suggested a small lateral to the settling pond. <br /> <br />MR. JAMES BODSGARD, 720 West County Road C: Had a <br />question regarding the grade change and whether water mains <br />would be lowered. He indicated he waS open minded. <br /> <br />MR. AL BANGERT, 792 West County Road C: Had questions <br />regarding storm sewer service and whether curbing would control <br />sand in the ditch. He indicated he was opposed to the project. <br /> <br />MR. MARl( ZACZKOWSKI, 675 West County Road C: Suggested a <br />small line to the settling area in the back yards and said he <br />was in favor of the project. <br />
