MR. BURTON KINGSLEY, 2155 North': .)sewood Lane: When he
built 20 years ago there were csrtair. restrictions and the
two lots owned by Mr. Kauls were to be. reserved for water.
Also said that many of the wet basements are caused by under-
ground water and not by surface water run off.

MR. ROBERT CARPENTIER, 760 Old Highway 8, New Brighton:
He and four others are part owners in Lot 120, Midland Hills
Road. Their parents developed that section 24 years ago.
They have this one lot that's been condemned but they have
to pay taxes on it. In favor of the improvement. Asked
how they could get the taxes eliminated.

MR. DAVID HOPSTOCK, 2126 South Rosewood Lane: Opposes the
improvement even though he has water in his basement. Has
not encountered any serious safety hazards because of bad road
conditions. Asked what the trench was running through his
property that appeared on the engineer's map. Was informed
that the trench was the proposed sewer line.

MR. DONALD HARVEY, 1965. North Cleveland: In favor of
saving the ponds. One of the reasons why there are floods
is because the water is being run off the land instead of
being held on the land.

MR. JOHN WILKE, 1951 Lake Street: Owns the north half of
Lots 6, 7 and 8. Opposed to the improvement because the sewer
would run through his property.

MR. CLIFFORD WETMORE, 2184 North Rosewood Lane (Spoke
before): Said it was mentioned that Ncrth Rosewood Lane ie
one of the most difficult streets in the village to maintain
because of flood water. However, people who are familiar
with the area have indica.ted that the bad condition is due
to the springs underneath and not to run off.

MR. ANTHONY H. WILLIAMS, 2155 Draper: Commented that the
bad condition of the roads is not only due to the possibility
of springs under the road but the improper use of roads with
heavy construction equipment.

MR. THo~mS NICHOLLS, 2160 Draper: Said they had called
the village hall about the violations of the road limits
but ha.ve not received any satisfaction. He had filed a
complaint just two weeks ago.
