MR. MARK HILLMER, 1803 Eldridge: Asked about an opening in
the median on Herschel.

MRS. CAROL ERDAHL, 1773 Eldridge: Asked if it was possible
to move proposed Herschel Street so it wouldn't cut through the
woods. Was told that this is the dividing line between
Dayton-Hudson and Allied property. The decision to move the
road would have to be made by Allied, owners of the western
portion of the property. This has been discussed for several
years and nothing has been resolved so it's doubtful that
anything can be done at this time.

MR. DENNIS GILBERTSON, 2183 Midlothian: With the
grade of the street as it's proposed, asked what would be done
with the excess material that would be scraped away. There are
several ponds in the area and he asked if there was any provision
against their being filled. Thought it would be a drastic mistake
to fill the ponds.

MR. WILLIAM HULME (Spoke before): The suggestion had been
made to purchase that part of the Farr Development property near
the ponds.

MR. RIEDESEL (Spoke before): Said the cost would be about
half a million dollars which he thought was a great deal of money
for anyone to spend for park purposes.

There being no further discussion, the Mayor closed the
hearing. Councilman Anderson mov~ seconded by Councilman
Grauel that the matter be continued to the April 30, 1973
meeting of the Council at 7:30 o'clock p.m. All in favor.
