MR. REILING: So we're paying part of the electric bill as
against other parts of the village.

COUNCILMAN DEMOS: You're paying part of the cost of that
fancy light pole. Instead of an old wooden pole, you're going
to get a beautiful one. I would like to know how many other
people share Mr. Norqual's sentiment - who signed the petition
or asked to have their name deleted and who would be willing to
pay $10 or $11.

FROM TEE AUDIENCE: But after two or three years that could
be back up to $20 or $30 with inflation.

MAYOR LINEBARGER: But once we set the cost it would stay
the same.

FROM THE AUDIENCE: After 20 years they can start allover
again.

MAYOR LINEBARGER: I can't speak for the Council, but I
for one would take a look if this project was ordered at the time
the assessments were handled in the fall, I'd look long and hard
at the 2% figure and try to find something realistic and not
(inaudible) .

COUNCILMAN DEMOS: That $55 that is going to be applicable
(inaUdible) .

MAYOR LINEBARGER: (Inaudible) that's the way you worked
that out. Now, eight lights with inflation on the $67 catch as
catch can, am I correct?

MR. HONCHELL: We put the full inflation on the whole thing
because our costs will be inflated the same way, but they would
still get credit for whatever we are paying on the other six
lights - whatever that fee may be.

MRS. DON NORQUAL, 532 Heinel Drive: Is that $23,000 a
10OO~ assessment?

MR. HONCHELL: As I interpret it, that's what the city would
have to pay over 20 years.

MRS. NORQUAL: And we would have no right to have any street
lights without paying for them ourselves, is that right?

8
