POPOVICH: Your only other alternative would be to put in a street lighting system and own the poles and just buy your juice from them. That's a big cost when you're buying your own standards and replacing them. What you're doing under this is paying for a service but you don't end up owning anything. COUNCILMAN DEMOS: We have a right to appeal a rate. Do we have a right to appeal standards? COUNCILMAN HESS: I didn't hear a second so I'd like to just - on Improvement UL-74-22 so I'd like to make a motion to deny this ~provement. Resolution No. 6215a RESOLUTION DENYING IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the improvement of Heinel Drive from Sandy Hook Drive to Heinel Drive East by the installation of underground ornamental street lights was duly presented to the council on the 10th day of October, 1974~ and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 21, 1974, a report has been prepared by the city Public Works Director with reference to the improvement, and this report was received by the Council on January 13, 1975; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council hereby determines not to undertake the improvement proposed in the Council resolution adopted October 21, 1974. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Demos, and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All; and the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolu- tion was declared duly passed and adopted. 13
