<br />ClIT OF ROSEVlLLE <br /> <br />Regular Heeting of the City Council - January 12, 1976 <br /> <br />'t'he City Cotmcil met on tl"e above date with the following <br />memhers present: Hayor Demos, Councilmen Andersont Curley <br />and Hess. <br /> <br />A.1 Curley Moved, Hess Secondedt that the minutes of the meeting <br />of December 29t 1976t be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: CurleYt <br />Hess t and Demos. Nays: None. Abstentions: Anderson t who <br />was not present at the December 29, 1975t meeting. <br /> <br />C~l Hess Moved that Frank Fashner be appointed to the Roseville <br />City Council to fill a Council vacancy for a term expiring <br />December 31t 1977. Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Curley Movedt Anderson Seconded, that Albert Grauel be appointed <br />to the Rosevi11e City Council to fill a council vacancy for a <br />term expiring December 31t 1977. Roll Callt Ayes: Andersont <br />Curley t Hess and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />C-2 Curley Movedt Hess Seconded, that the Standing Rules of Pro- <br />cedure for the year 1976 be adopted. <br /> <br />Rule 1. <br /> <br />Re~lar Meetings. Regular meetings of the Council <br />sha 1 be held at the City Hall on the secondt thirdt <br />and last Mondays of each month at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />S ecial Meetin and Work Sessions. Special meetings <br />an wor sessions must e calle at the request of at <br />least three (3) members of the Council. Only those <br />items specifically agreed upon in advance shall be <br />considered. At least 24 hours advance notice must be <br />given to all members of the Council prior to the hold- <br />ing of said special meetings and work sess ions and <br />that such notice shall also be posted on the City Hall <br />Bulletin Board at least 24 hours in advance of the <br />special meeting. <br /> <br />Rule 2. <br /> <br />Rule 3. <br /> <br />Emergency Meetings. Emergency meetings may be called at <br />any tune provldlng all meni>ers of the Council sign <br />waivers of notice prior to the holding of such emer- <br />gency meeting. <br /> <br />Rule 4. <br /> <br />Quorum. Three (3) members of the Council shall consti- <br />tute a quortun. <br /> <br />Rule 5. <br /> <br />Minutes. As soon as a quorum is presentt minutes of the <br />previous meeting shall be approved as presented or ac- <br />cepted af~er corrections have been made. <br /> <br />Rule 6. <br /> <br />Motions. Any motion, by any member, shall be reduced to <br />writing upon the request of any member.
