MR. HONCHELL: The city standard for the last
several years - once the sanitary sewers and watermains
were completed - the city standard became a seven ton
asphalt road which means heavy trucks aren't on it but
it takes care of all residential traffic, with concrete
curb and gutter.

MAYOR DEMOS: Anyone else who wishes to be heard?

MR. JERRY ERICKSON, 1214 Oakcrest: You're saying
there would be curb and gutter also on the access
street and you terminate those into existing streets
on Oakcrest and Brooks.

MR. HONCHELL: We would not bring a concrete
radius around, but we would swing some asphalt in to
meet them.

MRS. JERRY ERICKSON, 1214 Oakcrest: I have a
question. I'm picturing the concrete curb and gutter
and, of course, most of you don't know what this
looks like, but Oakcrest is blacktopped and then just
this one block street with curb and gutter. It's a
beautiful designated bike trail now - and beautiful
trees along the side. ~~y, I guess I just feel that
curb and gutter is completely unnecessary on that one
little stretch from Oakcrest to Brooks.

MAYOR DEMOS~ I will declare the hearing closed.

MR. ANDRE: Mr. Michels, were you inferring your
plat would be ready by June 14?

MR. MICHELS~ I will have some answers tomorrow
morning at 9:00 o'clock as to what our adjustment
will be on the easement.

MR. ANDRE: We tabled it to June 28.

~ffi. MICHELS: I'm losing time on the project myself,
as you know.

6
