<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />May 10, 1976 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />held in the City Hall in said city on Monday, May 10, 1976, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Coun- <br />cilmen Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Hessi and the following were <br />absent: None. <br /> <br />Also present were James F. Andre, City Manager1 Robert Bell, <br />City Attorney: Charles Honchell, City Public Works Director1 and <br />Peter S. Popovich of Peterson & Popovich, City Bond Consultants. <br /> <br />. . . . . <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: Next are our public hearings. <br /> <br />. . . . . <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: Improvement W-76-l0 - Rice Street from <br />Minnesota Avenue to 200 feet north of Woodbridge Street (water- <br />main). <br /> <br />MR. ANDRE: We have the Certificate of Mailing the Notice <br />of Hearing and the affidavit of publication of the Notice of <br />Hearing on Improvement W-76-l0. \ <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: ll1ill the Public Horks Director present a <br />summary of the nature of the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. HONCBELL: When the Ban Con Development Company pro- <br />posed to plat and rezone the property near the intersection of <br />Minnesota and Rice Street, it was noted at that time that there <br />were some deficiencies in the water system the city has in this <br />general area. Also, the Council may recall the receipt of the <br />master study by Banister, Short, Elliott and Hendrickson in <br />which they also made note of the fact that there is a missing <br />piece of watermain between Minnesota and a couple hundred feet <br />
