~Im. MARVIN SELLERSo 1784 Millwood: I can verify that it
does run east. I just want to suggest to these people on North
Fairview on the outer reaches, and I think they're missing a
good bet in Langdon Lake. It isn't just affecting the particular
land owners around the lake. I live on the east side of pairview
and we as a family enjoy it. It's an 2rea-wide recretional area
and even though they might just be looking at the water problem
and that affect just those in the immediate area around the
lake, the whole area enjoys Langdon, and the improvement of its
water quality and so forth, and I would like them to enjoy the
wild life.

MR. STANLEY KULIG (Spoke Before) ~ I was going to say, come
down and enjoy the wild life. tvell, I got to watch my language,
but I have two dogs and I'm down there right along training
my dogs and I enjoy wild life as much as anybody, but the only
thing I was referring to is the quality of water. How are you -
I'm not against the lake - I don't want to have anything harmful
happen to the lakeo but I'm just saying - he missed my point.
I just don't know how you're going to improve the quality of the
water. people aren't swimming there. I'd oppose trying to drain
it, so I'm for wild life - the more the merrier.

MR. GREG MC GOUGH, McGough Construction Co., 2737 North
Fairview: I guess I'm here to talk about what Frank Lindig
was talking about, and what I don't understand is, in the
industrial area, what are we going to help by running the water
through pipe. It doesn't make any sense to me. It does a
beautiful job right now. Nobody is flooded out. You said
yourself, there's no oil to speak of, going into the lake
and what not, and what are we going to gain by it except
it's going to cost us money.

MR. HONCHELL: To try and answer your question as best I
can. we feel there's a better probability and possibility of
keeping the water as clean as possible by picking it up soonp.ro
We'd rather pick it up as soon as we can and get it into a
controlable structure. This goes into a siltration basin. As
far as the extremities of where that pipe should go toward
Fairview and County Road C, we're not that say that it has to
be 100 or 200 feet that way. I'm not trY1ng to throw anyone's money
away. I pay taxes here too. It's all taxpayers' dollars whether
it cones from assessments or taxes, but the assessment is not
determined on exactly how much the project costs - it's an established
set fee and if we would save a thousand dollars on the project,
everyone's assessment would remain the same.

21
