l<'Jf1.e APNOU"' I<LA.TTo 20?7 t'7. County road D, Arden Hills: I
own the property that the county is in the process of con-
demnation. That's that property west of Lydia there.
It consists of approximately five acres.

~mYOR DEMOS~ You mean what would be Lydia extended.

rf.lRe KLATT: If Lydia "'jent through the lake. It's that
corner right south of the schoolhouse. This condemnation is
in Court. So far I still own the land and it seems like I
might get it back because the county and my attorney can't seem
to agree on the price of the land. You stated you have
acquired ten acres. ~fuere is that located?

till. HONCHELL: On the south side of County Road B essentially.
It's at least 100 feet of dry (inaudible) all the way around
the south end of the lake.

MR. KLATT: How much has been acquired on the north?

MR. HONCHELL: That's being done by the county. The land
on the south ~iJa s acquired .through the ,,j. ty and the land on the
north is to be acquired by Ramsey County.

MRe KLATT: In that area - that dotted area - does that
protect the assessments - that dotted area?

~ffi. HONCHELL: I'm not sure what you mean.

~~. KLATT: Some people with high ground there - that
shouldn't affect them at all. Why should they be assessed for
it?

MR. HONCHELL: If they "ould find a vjay to keep the water
on their property instead of having it go to Langdon Lakee

MR. KLATT~ That's what you want. You want water in
Langdon Lake.

MR. HONCHELL: As long as the water is running off
the property, it's causing a problem.

MR. KLATT: Then you come up with a figure of $295 per
building lot and a cost of $900 per acre, ~vhether there's
buildings on it or not. Hmv many lots do you get out af an acre?

28
