<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - October 12, 1981.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Franke.
<br />Absent: Mayor Demos.
<br />
<br />A-l Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of September 28,1981, be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley, and Franke. rJays:
<br />None. Abstenation: Johnson. Councilman Johnson
<br />abstained as he arrived at 8:00 p.m. for the September
<br />28, 1981 meeting.

<br />B-1 Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Sam Cave's request
<br />for final plat, rezoning from R-l to R-6 and special
<br />use permit at 2496 Fairview Avenue be continued to
<br />the October 26, 1981 Council meeting. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Franke. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-2 Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Harry Schroederl s
<br />request for special use permit at 2500 North Hamline
<br />Avenue be continued until the October 26, 1981 Council
<br />meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley,
<br />and Franke. Nays: None.

<br />B-3 Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Richard Morarity.s
<br />request for rezoning from R-l to R-2 at 2635 Fisk be
<br />denied. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and
<br />Franke. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-4 Curley Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Fai rview
<br />Development Company's request for special use permit
<br />to produce integrated microcircuit computer chips
<br />at 2825 and 2833 Fai rvi ew be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curl ey, and Franke. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr r1oved, Curley Seconded, that the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to prepare an ordinance providing for a
<br />special use in the B-1 zoning district which would
<br />permit the research, development, and manufacture of
<br />integrated microcircuit computer chips with specific
<br />note prohibiting the use of any dangerous chemicals.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Franke.
<br />Nays: None.
