<br />June 28, 1982 Minutes <br />-2- <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Franke Seconded, that the Handicap Recreation <br />Plan as recommended by the Central Park Foundation Board be <br />approved with the condition that the Foundation commit in <br />writing to the following: <br /> <br />1) That a representative of the Foundation visit each property <br />owner and prepare an individualized berming and landscaping <br />plan for each lot. <br /> <br />2) That an indication of size and species of landscaping <br />material be provided. <br /> <br />3) That the berms which will be constructed as part of the <br />drainage project shall be completed before the trail is <br />built. <br /> <br />4) That all landscaping be completed by June IS, 1983. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Franke Seconded, that the City agree to pay the <br />cost of sodding the steep slopes of the berms and installation <br />of fencing if the berms do not produce acceptable results, and <br />if requested by property owners within two years of project <br />completion; and that such monies be appropriated from the <br />encumbered 1981 Parks and Recreation Capital Fund Account. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-7 <br /> <br />Franke Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the City's participation in <br />the Bureau of Census Neighborhood Statistics Program be <br />approved, and that the neighborhoods as described in the 1980 <br />Comprehensive Development Plan be recognized as the official <br />City neighborhoods. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, <br />Curley, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-8 <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution 7371, declaring <br />the adequacy of a petition for improvement ST-82-18, and <br />ordering the preparation of a feasibility report by consulting <br />engineers, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, <br />Curley, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the engineering proposal from <br />the consulting firm of Short, Elliott & Hendrickson to provide <br />engineering services established in their proposal of June 24, <br />1982, be accepted, and that the Mayor and City Manager be <br />authorized to sign this agreement. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, <br />Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos.
