<br />E-8 Curley Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Anthony Menke's request
<br />for minor variance to rear yard setback at 1880 Draper to
<br />bring the existing home into conformance with City Code, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-9 Johnson Moved, Curley Seconded, that a public hearing be
<br />established for the Council meeting of June 11, 1984, for
<br />Saga Enterprises, Inc.'s application for on-sale and Special
<br />Sunday liquor licenses at 2760 Snelling Frontage Road East.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />E-lO Franke Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution 7608, accepting
<br />the bid of A. P. Keller Construction Company for Project
<br />SS-W-P-83-17, Ferris Lane, in the low bid amount of
<br />$137,853.60, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke,
<br />Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-II Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution 7609, approving
<br />the plans and ordering the advertisement of bids for June 14,
<br />1984, for Project P-83-20, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-12 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution 7610, urging the
<br />Governor of the State of Minnesota to initiate an independent
<br />study of the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission at the
<br />earliest possible time, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-13 Johnson Moved, Demos Seconded, that the following Planning
<br />Commission applications be referred to the June 6, 1984
<br />Planning Commission meeting, and that Council Public hearings
<br />be established for the June II, 1984 Council meeting for the
<br />Shorewood Corporation, Timothy Madden, Roselawn Cemetary,
<br />Saga Enterprises, Richard Robbins, and New Horizon.

<br />1) Shorewood Corporation request for amendment to the
<br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan from medium density
<br />residential to high density residential at 2231 Rice.
<br />
<br />2) Timothy Madden request for rezoning from R-l to R-2 at
<br />162 Minnesota Avenue.
<br />
<br />3) Commers-Klodt Company request for division of lot and
<br />variances at 2535 County Road C.
