<br />Kehr moved, Curley seconded that the Mayor and City Manager be
<br />authorized to sign the agreement with Short, Elliott and
<br />Hendrickson, Inc. for engineering services relating to proposed
<br />bridge over I-35W at County Road B-2. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />,Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-9 Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Resolution 7638, accepting RESOLUTION 7638
<br />the bid of H.B.H. Construction in the amount of $140,844.20 for
<br />the construction of Patton Road, Roseville Improvement SS-W-P-84-18
<br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that the Mayor and City Manager
<br />be authorized to sign the Earnest Money Contract for the
<br />purchase of fee ownership from Commers-Kludt in the amount of
<br />$131,230.57 for property needed for right-of-way for Patton
<br />Road, Roseville Improvement 84-18, and that a warranty deed
<br />be prepared. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and
<br />Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-10 Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Project ST-84-23, modifying
<br />the storm drainage system in the Marion/Transit area via
<br />Alternative A with funding to be supplied by the storm
<br />drainage utility be approved. Bids are approved for receipt on
<br />September 18, 1984. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-ll Kehr moved, Johnson seconded that Resolution 7639, declaring
<br />the adequacy of a petition for Eldridge Avenue east of Fairview,
<br />and Wheeler Street from Eldridge to Skillman Avenues, and
<br />ordering staff to prepare a feasibility study for this project
<br />identified as P-84-22 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-12 Johnson moved, Kehr seconded that Resolution 7640, appointing
<br />election judges and alternate judges for the primary election
<br />on September 11, and the general election on November 6, 1984
<br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and
<br />Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-13 Kehr moved, Curley seconded that the following applications be
<br />referred to the September 5, 1984 Planning Commission Meeting
<br />and establishing the Council public hearing for September
<br />10, 19 84 :

<br />1) Discus of Rosevi11e's request for special use pe~it,
<br />division of lot, and variance at 2750 Snelling Frontage
<br />Road East.
<br />
<br />2) Robert Gavrilescu's request for variance to side yard
<br />setback at 1179 Ruggles.
<br />
