Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Mar-Len Development Corporation's request for withdrawal of Special Use Permit and sign variance at 2550 Long Lake Road be approved, and to refer a modified application to the November 5 Planning Commission, and establishing the City Council Public Hearing for November 10, 1986. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None. Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that the Council Work Session to be held on Monday, October 20, 1986 begin at 4:00 p.m. rather than 7:30 p.m. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None. Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Pat Gorman be determined eligible for a third term on the Police Civil Service Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None. Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that Curtis Brown's request for division of lot at 1754 Alta Vista Drive be approved with the following condition: 1. That a private utility easement be granted across Parcel B to allow Parcel A access to utilities on Alta Vista Drive. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None. Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that Shoppes Associate's request for sign at 1739 North Lexington be approved. Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. None. Plaza variance Roll Call, Nays: Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Joseph coppersmith's request for a preliminary plat at 645 Transit Avenue be approved with the following conditions: 1. That the garage be removed before the final plat is approved. 2. That the house on the western most lot be ten feet from its proposed eastern lot line.
