<br />le City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and
<br />Wiski. Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL

<br />Wiski moved, Cushman seconded, that Resolution 8143, com-
<br />mending Frank Rog for his twenty-seven years of service as
<br />Director of Parks and Recreation, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and wiski. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of May 11, 1987, be amended under Item
<br />E-10, Conditions 1, 2, and 3, as follows:

<br />MINUTES
<br />
<br />"1. That access to the active field games recreation area
<br />be oriented to Cleveland Avenue with a priority given
<br />to interim access pursued through the former Roberts
<br />property, and main parking provided to the west.
<br />
<br />2. That programmed recreation at the ball fields be
<br />limited to non-adult activities until Cleveland access
<br />is established, and thereafter a priority be given for
<br />youth activities at the ball fields.
<br />
<br />3. That Arthur Street serve as access to a trailhead
<br />parking area. The parking area should be reduced in
<br />size and moved north as much as possible, and
<br />coordinated with Presbyterian Homes ~o explore possible
<br />joint use or land exchange."

<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of May 11, 1987, be approved as amended.

<br />Kehr moved, Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />Special Meeting held May 12, 1987, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that Har Mar's request
<br />for Special Use Permit and variance at 2100 North
<br />Snelling Avenue be continued to the July 13, 1987,
<br />Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson,
<br />Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />B-2 Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that JLN Development's JLN DEVELOP-
<br />request for Comprehensive Plan modification, rezoning, MENT COMPANY
<br />Special Use Permit, and variances at 2196, 2204, 2208,
<br />2218, 2234, 2236, 2240, 2270, and 2280 Hamline Avenue
<br />be continued to the July 13, 1987, Council meeting.
