<br />Kegular meeting of the City Council - July 27, 1987. 7:30 P.M.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL
<br />members present: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and wiski.
<br />Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />Merle Saunders was commended by the council on his retire- COMMENDATION
<br />ment after serving the City of Roseville with dedication,
<br />as an equipment operator, in the Public Works Department for
<br />seventeen years.
<br />
<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the MINUTES
<br />regular meeting of July 13, 1987, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Wiski. Nays:
<br />None.
<br />
<br />C-1 Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that a Council Work WORK SESSIONS
<br />Session be scheduled at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 10,
<br />1987, for the purpose of reviewing the 1988 prelim-
<br />inary budget information. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson,
<br />Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Johnson seconded, that a Council Work
<br />Session be scheduled at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August
<br />25, 1987, for the purpose of touring the Roseville
<br />Park system. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman,
<br />Matson, Kehr, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />C-2 Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that a Council Work WORK SESSION
<br />Session be scheduled at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11,
<br />1987, for the purpose of the 35W Bridge Ribbon Cutting
<br />and reception. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman,
<br />Matson, Kehr, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />E-1 Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Otis Lundberg's OTIS LUNDBERG
<br />request for minor variance at 987 Woodhill drive be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson,
<br />Kehr, and Wiski. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-1a Kehr moved, Johnson seconded, that the bid for the TELEPHONE
<br />purchase, installation, and maintenance of a tele- SYSTEM
<br />phone system be awarded to Honeywell, Inc. for a
<br />system cost of $49,933, and maintenance costs of:
<br />Year 2, $3,564; Year 3, $3,742; Year 4, $3,929; and
<br />Year 5, $4,125, in the low total bid amount of $65,293.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and
<br />Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Johnson seconded, that the bid for
<br />telephone system cabling plant and installation be
<br />awarded to P & T in the low bid amount of $8,703.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr,
<br />and Wiski. Nays: None.
