<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and
<br />Wiski. Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of July 27, 1987, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Wiski. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Centre pointe's
<br />request for final plat on the east side of 35W between
<br />County Roads C and D be continued to the September 14,
<br />1987 City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Rosewood Corpo-
<br />ration's request for final plat at 2241-2391 Highway
<br />36 be continued to the October 12, 1987 City Council
<br />meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman,
<br />Matson, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Gerald Kaufhold's
<br />request for rezoning, Comprehensive Plan Amendment,
<br />preliminary plat, and variance at 1130 County Road B
<br />be continued to the September 2, 1987 Planning Com-
<br />mission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson,
<br />Cushman, Matson, and Wiski. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that the City Council
<br />does not want to purchase parkland at the proposed
<br />price, nor does it want a small two acre park which
<br />provides inadequate space for an effective recreation
<br />program. The Council is also seeking to encourage
<br />increased housing on the site, and the formulation of
<br />an appropriate buffer to the adjacent neighborhood.

<br />B-4 Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that Fine Associates FINE ASSOCIATES
<br />request for rezoning, Special Use Permits, variance,
<br />and division of lot at 2665 and 2710 Snelling Frontage
<br />Road be approved with the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1. That the P.U.D. be developed in accordance with
<br />plans dated 5/29/87.
<br />
<br />2. That the driveways be properly aligned.
<br />
<br />3. That the development be constructed per plans
<br />submitted June 29, 1987.
<br />
<br />4. That staff approve final landscape and engi-
<br />neering plans.
