Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Cushman, <br />Johnson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-5 Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that Resolution 8288, RESOLUTION <br />instructing the city staff to contact the elected 8288 <br />officials of Ramsey County requesting the reinstalla- <br />tion of the Rosevi11e reconstruction projects that <br />have been dropped from the capital Improvement Program <br />for roads and bridges, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Matson, Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-6 Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that the contract for PLANNING <br />professional planning services with Dahlgren, Shardlow,SERVICES <br />and Uban, Inc., be approved as recommended by Howard CONTRACT <br />Dahlgren. <br /> <br />E-7 <br /> <br />E-8 <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded to amend the original <br />motion that the contract would be approved subject to <br />the understanding that the planner make a concerted <br />effort to share his extensive knowledge and expertise <br />fully with the city staff. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, <br />Johnson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: Cushman. <br /> <br />Cushman moved to amend the original motion to provide <br />for one-half day per week session at an annual cost of <br />$35,304.00, and to authorize additional funds at the <br />same prorated hourly pay if additional hours were <br />required. Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Roll Call on the original motion as amended, Ayes: <br />Matson, Johnson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: Cushman. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that the city Manager <br />be authorized to contract with Ernhardt & Associates <br />of Elk River, Minnesota, at a cost not to exceed <br />$4,000.00, for the purpose of developing a case study <br />receiving a list of suggested private financing con- <br />tacts, and a suggested process for communicating with <br />these contacts in order to determine the feasibility of <br />initiating private funding for a private campaign for <br />the Community/Recreation Center. Monies for this <br />contract are to be taken from the contingency Fund. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and <br />Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR <br />COMMUNITY/ <br />RECREATION <br />CENTER <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, that the City Manager be <br />authorized to contract with Dahlgren, Shardlow, and <br />Uban, Inc., for planning services updating the Central <br />Park Master Plan at a cost not to exceed $7,450.00, <br />and such amount be appropriated from the Park Develop- <br />ment account in the Permanent Improvement Fund.
