<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the City Council - July 25, 1988. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL <br />members present: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and Rog. <br />Members absent: None. <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes of the MINUTES <br />regular meeting of July 11, 1988, be approved. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />B-1 <br /> <br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the Lexington Avenue <br />Limited Partnership/George Reiling request for a Com- <br />prehensive Plan change from medium density residential <br />to high density residential, park, and business at <br />2775 Lexington Avenue be denied for the following <br />reasons: <br /> <br />LEXINGTON AVE. <br />LIMITED PART- <br />NERSHIP/GEORGE <br />REILING <br /> <br />1. That the proposed density of the development is <br />inconsistent with the character of the adjacent <br />single family neighborhood. <br /> <br />2. That other less dense development alternatives are <br />available. <br /> <br />3. That access and traffic concerns have not been <br />adequately addressed. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: <br />Rog. <br /> <br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the City Attorney be <br />instructed to prepare an ordinance to impose a one <br />year Development Moratorium on the area north of Wood- <br />hill Drive, immediately west of Lexington Avenue and <br />south of county Road C-2. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, <br />Matson, and Johnson. Nays: Cushman and Rog. <br /> <br />B-2 No action was taken on Item B-2, "Authorization to DEVELOPMENT <br />enter into a Development Agreement with Can-American". AGREEMENT WITH <br />CAN-AMERICAN <br /> <br />B-3 <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that Brutger Companies <br />request for a Special Use Permit for an amended <br />Planned unit Development at 2331 Rice street be <br />approved with the following conditions: <br /> <br />BRUTGER <br />COMPANIES <br /> <br />1. That exterior building materials be brick with <br />aluminum siding. <br /> <br />2. That the building height not exceed 40 feet at <br />the peak of the roof. <br /> <br />3. That the drainage permit, fill permit, and access <br />permit be approved by MnDOT. <br />
