<br />E-3 Matson moved, Johnson seconded, that Target store's TARGET STORES
<br />request for a permit for a temporary storage tent from
<br />August 15 to no later than October 31, 1988, at 1515
<br />County Road B be approved, with the condition that the
<br />tent shall be constructed of a fire retardant material.

<br />E-4 Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, that the Muscular Muscular
<br />Dystrophy Association Application for Temporary On- Dystrophy
<br />Sale Liquor License to sell nonintoxicating malt Association
<br />liquor (3.2 beer) at a volleyball tournament in Central
<br />Park on August 20 and 21, 1988, be approved. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and Rog.

<br />amending the city Code of the City of Roseville
<br />by providing certain hiring practices, be adopted.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Ordinance 1044,
<br />amending the city Code of the city of Roseville,
<br />restricting certain activities of city employees by
<br />revoking Section 264.097 Gratuities, and adding Sec-
<br />tion 254.097 Gratuities, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the proposed resolu-
<br />tion and ordinance establishing a Development Mora-
<br />torium on the property proposed for development by
<br />Can-Am be continued to the August 22, 1988 City
<br />Council meeting, and instructing the City Attorney to
<br />modify the language to permit a three month Moratorium
<br />while also allowing the Can-American compromise
<br />proposal to be referred to the Planning Commission and
<br />the City Council for public hearing.

<br />Further, that the Lawrence Bieza petition to have the
<br />City Council consider rezoning the George Reiling site
<br />at 2775 Lexington Avenue, from R-2 and SC to R-1, be
<br />continued to the August 22, 1988 City Council meeting.

<br />E-8 Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that the Butler Paper BUTLER PAPER
<br />Company request for variance at 3080 Long Lake Road COMPANY
<br />be referred to a special meeting of the Planning Commis-
<br />sion to be held on August 19, 1988, at 5:00 p.m., and
<br />establishing a public hearing for the August 22, 1988
<br />City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Cushman,
<br />Matson, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
