<br />Regular meeting of the City Council - November 14, 1988. 7:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL
<br />members present: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog.
<br />Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded that the minutes of the regular MINUTES
<br />meeting of October 24, 1988, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Cushman indicated her nay votes on items E-8 through E-18
<br />were a statement of protest regarding the lateness of the
<br />meeting. Action on these items was taken at approximately
<br />3:30 a.m. Cushman suggested staff should provide the Council
<br />with recommendations for controlling the length of Council
<br />meetings.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of November 7, 1988, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />The Council presented a certificate of Appreciation to the NATIONAL
<br />682nd Engineer Battalion of the Minnesota National Guard for GUARD
<br />its many hours of volunteer work at Langton Lake Park.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Gerald Kaufhold's
<br />request for final plat at 1130 West County Road B be
<br />continued to the December 12, 1988, regular City
<br />Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson,
<br />Kehr, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that Centre pointe's
<br />request for a final plat on the east side of 35W,
<br />between County Road C and D, be continued to the
<br />December 12, 1988, regular City Council meeting. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None
<br />
<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that Bradford School,
<br />Inc.'s request for a Special Use Permit for a Planned
<br />unit Development at 2340-2350 Lexington Avenue be
<br />continued to the December 12, 1988, regular City Council
<br />meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson, Kehr,
<br />Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded that Woodbridge Proper-
<br />ties, Inc. request for a Special Use Permit for a day-
<br />care center at 3030 and 3050 Centre Pointe Drive be
<br />approved with the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1. That it be developed in accordance with the plans
<br />submitted.
<br />
<br />2. That the outside play area be fenced.
