<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />April 10, 1989 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />B- 6 Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the following dona- DONATIONS <br />tions to the Parks and Recreation Department be <br />approved: <br /> <br />B- 7 <br /> <br />B- 8 <br /> <br />B- 9 <br /> <br />B-10 <br /> <br />$ 50.00 from Miriam Kitts in honor and memory of <br />Dr. Chauncey Kelsey. <br /> <br />$ 200.00 General donation from Roseville AA. <br /> <br />$1,299.00 Cash, prizes and gift certificates for <br />1989 Easter Egg Hunt. <br /> <br />$6,283.40 Cash donations for 1989 Summer Entertain- <br />ment Series. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and <br />Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that Mayflower Park be <br />renamed Keller-Mayflower Park in recognition of C. H. <br />Keller who donated the land for the park, as well as <br />recognizing the historical significance of the <br />Mayflower name. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, <br />Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the newly acquired <br />park area on Eldridge and Lexington be named Lexington <br />Park, based on the historical significance of Lexing- <br />ton School and the geographic location. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, that an agreement <br />between School District 623 and the City of Roseville <br />for use of the city's optical scan voting equipment <br />be approved with the following addition: <br /> <br />5. The voting machine equipment shall be <br />returned to the City in the same condition <br />in which it was received by the School <br />District. <br /> <br />and authorizing the Mayor and Acting City Manager to <br />sign the agreement. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, <br />Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the following items <br />be referred to the May 3, 1989 Planning commission <br />meeting, and establishing a public hearing for the <br />May 22, 1989 regular city Council meeting: <br /> <br />1. Gordy Howe request for rezoning from R-1 to R-2, <br />P.D.D., and preliminary and final plat at 2025 <br />Roselawn Avenue West. <br /> <br />RENAMING OF <br />MAYFLOWER <br />PARK <br /> <br />NAMING OF <br />LEXINGTON <br />SCHOOL AREA <br />PARK <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />WITH SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT <br />623 <br /> <br />PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />REFERRALS <br />
