<br />The First Annual Roseville Human Rights Excellence Award was HUMAN RIGHTS
<br />presented to Presbyterian Homes of Minnesota by the Rose- EXCELLENCE
<br />Human Rights Commission. AWARD
<br />
<br />Margaret Philbrook, resident of Roseville for over thirty
<br />years, was recognized by the Mayor and Council as recently
<br />being selected "Minnesota Mother of the Year" by American
<br />Mothers, Incorporated.

<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the minutes of
<br />the regular meeting of March 12, 1990 be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, Johnson,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the minutes of
<br />the special meeting of March 14, 1990 be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None. Abstain: Johnson, because he was not
<br />present at the meeting.

<br />CONSENT AGENDA
<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that the Consent
<br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-3, B-6 through B-9, and
<br />B-11 through B-12 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that Sunday, April
<br />22, 1990 be proclaimed as Earth Day 1990. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that st. Rose of
<br />Lima's request for variances to parking setback and
<br />curb requirements at 2048 Hamline Avenue North be
<br />continued to the regular City Council meeting of April
<br />23, 1990. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Maschka, Thomas,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that Ashland Oil's
<br />request for rear yard setback, parking setback, and a
<br />number of parking stall variances at 1925 Lexington
<br />Avenue be continued to the regular City Council meeting
<br />of April 23, 1990. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Thomas, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
