<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the city Council - May 14, 1990. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The city council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL <br />members present: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. <br />Members absent: None. Cushman arrived at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A-I Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that the minutes of MINUTES <br />the regular meeting of April 23, 1990, be approved <br />with the following amendment to Item C-3, Welsh <br />Companies, Condition No.7, second paragraph, to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />"That landscaping be provided along the north <br />property line contiguous to the residential <br />properties. That a fence be constructed, <br />preferably not more than ten feet or less than <br />eight feet in height unless a sight line <br />analysis conducted by the city determines the <br />height should be more than ten feet. The fence <br />shall be built before other construction occurs, <br />and be along the north property line contiguous <br />to the residential property." <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />B. <br />B-1 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that Mary Walser's <br />request for a 15.4 foot minor variance, to add a 16'6" <br />x 14' family room off the back of an existing dwelling <br />at 718 Eldridge, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. Nays: None. <br /> <br />MARY WALSER <br /> <br />B-2 <br /> <br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the following <br />minor variances, in accordance with the City's policy <br />concerning minor variances for driveway side yard set- <br />backs, be approved: <br /> <br />BLANKET <br />MINOR <br />VARIANCES <br /> <br />1. Clayton and Patricia Johnson request for a five <br />foot variance at 2986 Mildred Drive. <br /> <br />2. Wendy Lee Thompson request for a five foot variance <br />at 2938 Mildred Drive. <br /> <br />4. Keith Grewe request for a three foot variance at <br />2081 Hand Avenue. <br /> <br />5. Russell J. Caflisch request for a five foot <br />variance at 2053 Giesmann street. <br /> <br />6. Gordon P. Dahlen request for a two and one-half <br />foot variance at 319 Burke Avenue W. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. <br />Nays: None. <br />
