<br />Cushman moved, Thomas seconded, that the City of Rose-
<br />ville request for sign setback variance for a sign at
<br />Central Park on Lexington Avenue be approved with the
<br />condition that it be located outside the future 16-1/2
<br />foot dedication for Lexington Avenue as determined by
<br />staff. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that a Special
<br />Meeting be established for Thursday, July 12, 1990,
<br />from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Falcon Heights City
<br />Hall, 2077 W. Larpenteur Avenue, for the purpose of
<br />meeting with the Falcon Heights City Council to dis-
<br />cuss the study on cooperation in our mutual best
<br />interests. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the first Tuesday
<br />of every month be established as a regular City
<br />Council breakfast work session to be held at 7:30 a.m.
<br />and conclude by 9:00 a.m., at Bridgeman's Restaurant
<br />2150 Lexington Avenue North, Roseville. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that Rosewood's
<br />request for City land purchase--35W/36 site--be
<br />denied. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Rog seconded, that Resolution 8585,
<br />ordering preparation of a feasibility report on
<br />Improvement P-90-16, Lincoln Drive and County Road
<br />C-2 roadway improvements, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Johnson seconded, that staff provide no
<br />fencing around the ponding areas or residential
<br />properties abutting the ponding areas to be con-
<br />structed as part of City Project ST-89-20, Snelling
<br />Avenue/County Road/Snelling Curve area storm sewer.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Ordinance 1078,
<br />amending Chapter 145 of the City Code of the City of
<br />Roseville with regard to animals, be adopted with the
<br />following addition under 145.070. Impoundinq, the
<br />first sentence: "Any dog or cat found running at large
<br />or without valid tags displayed, off the owner's
<br />premises. may be seized and may be impounded."
