<br />3. That the type of merchandise be limited to auto
<br />related products, pop, oil, firewood, charcoal,
<br />lawn fertilizer, and bird feed.

<br />4. That three feet of sidewalk be maintained for
<br />proper accessibility to the building at all times.

<br />5. That the area devoted to outside merchandise and
<br />display not exceed two percent of the area of the
<br />building as presented.

<br />6. That a painted area be required to distinguish
<br />outside storage areas.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Advanced Design,
<br />Inc. request for Comprehensive Plan change from busi-
<br />ness to low density residential at 2284 Old Highway 8,
<br />subject to completion of Metropolitan Council review,
<br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman,
<br />Maschka, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Advanced Design,
<br />Inc. request for rezoning from B-3 to R-1 at 2284 Old
<br />Highway 8, subject to completion of Metropolitan
<br />Council review of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that preliminary plat
<br />at 2284 Old Highway 8 be approved subject to staff
<br />review of detailed grading, drainage, utility, and
<br />erosion control plans, and subject to completion of
<br />Metropolitan Council review of the Comprehensive Plan
<br />Amendment. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that a public hearing
<br />for the final plat of Advanced Design, Inc. at 2284 Old
<br />Highway 8 be established for July 9, 1990. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />C-8 Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that Dominium Group's DOMINIUM
<br />request for special Use Permit at 2231 Rice street be GROUP
<br />continued to the regular City council meeting of
<br />July 23, 1990. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Johnson, and
<br />Rog. Nays: Cushman and Maschka.
