<br />Roseville city Hall for the purpose of a joint
<br />meeting with the Falcon Heights City Council to
<br />review the status of potential areas of coopera-
<br />tion.

<br />4. Wednesday, January 9, 5:30 p.m., special council
<br />meeting at City Hall to discuss various ordinance
<br />amendments relating to planning and zoning.
<br />

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that John Palmeri
<br />South Oaks Partnership's request for a variance at
<br />1080 County Road D, to allow the existing apartment
<br />building to exist at its present location based on
<br />practical difficulty, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Thomas, Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that proposed changes
<br />to the schedule and procedure for Roseville's develop-
<br />ment and review and approval process be continued to
<br />the December 17, 1990 Council work session. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that the City of
<br />Roseville's Five Year Capital Improvement Plan (1991-
<br />1995) be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Johnson,
<br />Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8633,
<br />amending the 1990 budget for wage and salaries and
<br />unanticipated revenues and expenses, be adopted. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Thomas, Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the City of
<br />Roseville Smoking Policy Alternate 1, to be effective
<br />May 1, 1991, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson,
<br />Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: Thomas.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved that city of Roseville Smoking Policy
<br />Alternate 1 be amended to exclude night watch situa-
<br />tions at all Fire stations.
<br />
<br />Motion died for lack of a second.
