<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Thomas moved, Johnson seconded, that George Brandt,
<br />Inc. request for variance to sign ordinance at 2975
<br />Long Lake Road be denied based on the findings that
<br />hardship has been demonstrated. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that KK III request
<br />for boulevard planting in the present location on the
<br />west side of Patton Road, across from 2750 Patton Road,
<br />be denied based on current city Code, and plantings be
<br />relocated twelve feet from the property line on the
<br />west Patton Road curb line, with adjacent property
<br />owners being notified, allowing ten working days in
<br />which to object. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Maschka,
<br />Thomas, and Rog. Nays: Cushman.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that the City Manager
<br />be authorized to sign the Joint Use Agreement between
<br />the City of Roseville and the B-Dale Club, Inc. for
<br />joint use of the parking lot adjacent to both Villa
<br />Park and the B-Dale Club with No. 6 of the agreement
<br />to be amended as follows: "Both parties reserve the
<br />right to withdraw from the joint use at any time for
<br />any reason without damages by giving 30 days notice of
<br />intent to cancel." Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Maschka,
<br />Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that unit prices sub-
<br />mitted by F. M. Frattalone Excavating and Grading,
<br />Inc. for extra work, and to correct a bid error, on
<br />Hamline Avenue, City Project 89-16, be accepted and
<br />staff and the City Attorney be authorized to prepare a
<br />supplemental cooperative agreement for this work, to
<br />be signed by appropriate City officials. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the contract for
<br />painting the Ice Arena ceiling be awarded to Panola,
<br />in the low bid amount of $66,480, to be financed from
<br />the 1991 Ice Arena Capital Improvement Budget. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that Cooperative
<br />Agreement No. 91016, between the City of Roseville and
<br />Ramsey County for maintenance work on Dale street
<br />between Cope Avenue and South Owasso Boulevard, be
<br />approved at a cost of $7,178, to be financed from the
<br />special Assessment Construction Fund, and appropriate
<br />City officials be authorized to sign the agreement on
<br />behalf of the City of Roseville. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays:
<br />None.
