<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL
<br />members present: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, Cushman, and
<br />V. Johnson. Members absent: None.

<br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />A-1 Cushman moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the minutes MINUTES
<br />of the regular meeting of February 10, 1992 be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P. John-
<br />son, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B. CONSENT AGENDA
<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the Consent CONSENT
<br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-6, be approved. Roll AGENDA
<br />Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, Cushman, and
<br />V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the Church of
<br />st. Rose of Lima's request for Exemption from Lawful
<br />Gambling License Requirements to conduct lawful gambl-
<br />ing activities on May 24, 1992 at 2048 Hamline Avenue,
<br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P.
<br />Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the North Subur-
<br />ban Youth Association's request for renewal of their
<br />Class B Premise Permit, to conduct charitable gambling
<br />activities at the Holiday Inn, 2540 Cleveland Avenue,
<br />and the Chop stick Inn, 1744 Lexington Avenue, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P. John-
<br />son, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that no action be
<br />taken on the North Suburban Youth Association's request
<br />for a Class A Premise Permit to conduct lawful gambling
<br />activities at the Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall until
<br />policy implications can be considered because the
<br />Council has placed a moratorium on any new premise
<br />permits. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P. John-
<br />son, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8757,
<br />scheduling a public hearing for Improvement Project P-
<br />ST-SS-90-07, Cleveland Avenue reconstruction,
<br />Larpenteur Avenue to County Road B, for March 23,
<br />1992, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka,
<br />P. Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8758,
<br />approving the Lake Owasso Safe Boating Association's
<br />request for approval of water-ski course and water-ski
<br />jump on Lake Owasso for 1992, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, Cushman, and V.
<br />Johnson. Nays: None.
