<br />Business License Applications be approved. Roll Call,

<br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
<br />Mastel moved, wiski seconded, that the 1994 Police
<br />Officers' contract settlement be approved and
<br />authorizing the City Manager to execute the contract.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel,
<br />and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, that a Special Council
<br />Work Session be established for Wednesday, October 12,
<br />1994, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1300 Nicollet Mall,
<br />Minneapolis, beginning at 8:00 a.m., to allow Council
<br />to attend the accreditation of the Roseville Parks and
<br />Recreation Department without violating the Open
<br />Meetings Act. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Wiski,
<br />Goedeke, Mastel, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />wi ski moved, Mastel seconded, that a presentation on
<br />County roadway striping be referred to a future work
<br />session for discussion. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson,
<br />Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Mastel seconded, that the agreement
<br />between Meredith Cable and the City of Roseville, for
<br />the construction of a parking lot and service drive at
<br />the old Owasso School be approved, and authorizing the
<br />Mayor and City Manager to execute this agreement.

<br />A presentation of plaques to the Mayor, Council, and
<br />city Manager was made by Fire Chief Joel Hewitt on
<br />behalf of the Roseville Fire Department membership,
<br />thanking them for their support of the Fire Depart-
<br />ment's Parade and 50th Anniversary Book.
