<br />D-I Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that the deadline for receiving applications for PLANNING
<br />one vacancy on the Planning Commission be established as 4:30 p.m. Thursday, COMMISSION
<br />January 4, 1996, and establishing a Special City Council work session for Monday, VACANCY
<br />January 29, 1996, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Roseville City Hall for the purpose
<br />of interviewing Commission applicants. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Mastel,
<br />Goedeke, Wiski, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that staff be directed to take appropriate actions
<br />to discontinue participation with HealthPartners and accept Medica as the sole
<br />provider of employee health benefits. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Mastel,

<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Wiski moved, V. Johnson seconded, that the use of rough sawn cedar and
<br />corrugated metal roof materials, as amended in the building design for Famous
<br />Dave's Barbeque Shack at 2131 N. Snelling Avenue, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Wiski and V. Johnson. Nays: P. Johnson, Mastel, and Goedeke.
<br />Motion failed.

<br />Goedeke moved, P. Johnson seconded, that Dave Anderson's request for the
<br />use of rough sawn cedar and corrugated metal roof materials as part of the
<br />building design for Famous Dave's Barbeque Shack at 2131 Snelling Avenue, be
<br />denied based on the finding that these materials are inconsistent with the standards
<br />set out in Section 1010.02 of the Roseville City Code, and request the applicant
<br />to resubmit a building permit application with exterior materials consistent with
<br />the City design guidelines. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Mastel, and Goedeke.
<br />Nays: Wiski and V. Johnson. Motion passed.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Goedeke seconded, that the variance for an above ground
<br />storage tank at Indianhead Truck Lines, 1947 W. County Road C, be extended
<br />for an additional three year period (November, 1995 through November, 1998)or
<br />until ownership of the site changes, whichever happens sooner. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, Wi ski, and V. Johnson. Nays: None.
