Snelling. Thn: e suspects were <br />arrested and upon a search warrant issued for the suspects' homes, the police <br />were able to recover thousands of dollars worth of stolen eqllipment. <br /> <br />Jim Bodsgard, Fire Chief, made a brief presentation to the C lty Council of the <br />new Interspiro self-contained breathing apparatus which wil go into service <br />February 3, 1996. <br /> <br />Rosedale Center and VISA cooperated in a promotion to off ~r free gift wrap <br />to anyone using their VISA card at Rosedale during Novemller and December. <br />The Parks and Recreation Department entered into an agreerlent with them to <br />provide volunteers to wrap gifts to raise $8,000 for the stagillg of the 1996 World <br />Cup Speed Skating Sprints for Ladies and Men. Nearly 300 volunteers wrapped <br />in excess of 30,000 gifts between November 6 and Decembe r 24. Rosedale staff <br />presented the City with a check of $8,000. <br /> <br />HEARINGS <br />Goedeke moved, Wiski seconded, that Sandra Schlief s requ est for a Conditional <br />Use Permit for a beauty salon at her home at 599 W. County Road B-2 be <br />continued to the regular City Council meeting of Monday, F ~bruary 26, 1996. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, and Wa I. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Wiski seconded, that the subject of snow rc ~moval, deliveries, <br />and trash removal noise at major parking lots be postponed i ldefinitely. N lYS: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Wiski seconded, that Resolution 9274, To Ner Place area <br />amendment to the Roseville Comprehensive Plan revising tb e text and providing <br />additional land use map designations for the existing plan ad opted in 1994, be <br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wisk , and Wall. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Wiski seconded, that staff be directed to se nd the amendment <br />to the Metropolitan Council for review. Nays: None. <br /> <br />G-4 Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that a resolution creating Tax Increment <br />Financing District 15 and Hazardous Substance Subdistrict] 5A and Tax <br />Increment Plan relating thereto, be continued to the regular (:ity Council work <br />session of Monday, February 20, 1996.
