<br />Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 9320, submitting the
<br />proposed property tax levy on real estate to the Ramsey County Auditor for
<br />Fiscal Year 1997 in the amount of$6,162,356, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 9321, directing the
<br />County Auditor to increase the 1997 tax levy for the planned General
<br />Improvement Bond Issue, Series 23, 1997 by $81,752 and to reduce the levy by
<br />$1,511,222 which is being paid by debt service reserves, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Mastel moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9322, approving December 4, RESOLUTION
<br />1996 for the Truth in Taxation hearing for the 1997 proposed levy for the City of 9322
<br />Roseville, with December 16 for a second hearing if needed, be adopted. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Council agreed to move to the Recognitions portion of the Council meeting at AGENDA
<br />this time, and to move Item F-2, City Council consideration ofthe Tax Increment CHANGE
<br />Finance Policy, to become Item J-1 under Reports and Recommendations
<br />Continued, renumbering F-3, F-4, and F-5, to become J-2, J-3, and J-4
<br />accordingly.

<br />G. RECOGNITIONS
<br />G-l Fernando Fuentes, a Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association (MRP A)
<br />Board Member who works for the St. Paul Division of Parks and Recreation,
<br />presented the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department the Minnesota
<br />Recreation and Parks Association Award of Excellence for the Street Tree
<br />Master Plan and the Roundup Program. This is the fourth MRP A Award of
<br />Excellence received by the Parks and Recreation Department.

<br />H -1 Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that an ordinance amending the Roseville
<br />City Code, Section 1104.4 regarding subdivisions wherein a plat is not
<br />required, be continued to the regular City Council meeting of Monday,
<br />September 23, 1996. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall.
