<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution 9348, approving the
<br />preliminary layout of MnDOT's proposed reconstruction of the T.H. 36 Bridge
<br />across Dale Street, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski,
<br />Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Goedeke moved, Wi ski seconded, that the proposal of Malloy, Montague,
<br />Kamowski, Radosevich, & Co., P.A. to be the City's outside auditor for the
<br />Fiscal Years of 1996, 1997, and 1998 be approved, at a cost not to exceed
<br />$37,370. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, and Wall. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Mastel moved, Maschka seconded, that B-Dale Club's request for a bonfire
<br />permit for October 31, 1996 at 2100 N. Dale Street (the Villa Park ballfield
<br />infield) be approved with the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1. That the Fire Marshal issue a permit with conditions that the fires not
<br />be allowed to smolder or cause any excessive or offensive smoke.
<br />
<br />2. That if the wind speed at the time of the fire is in excess of 10 mph,
<br />the permit will be invalid.
<br />

<br />Goedeke moved, Wiski seconded, that the contract for the customer entrance
<br />at the License Center be awarded to DNR Construction Services, Inc. in the
<br />low bid amount of $88,249, with funding to come from the Building
<br />Depreciation Account. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, and
<br />Wall. Nays: None.

<br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that the bid for purchase and installation of
<br />playground equipment at Acorn Park be awarded to Flanagan Sales, per the
<br />advertised bid specifications and bonded submittal, in an amount not to exceed
<br />$40,000, with funding to come from the 1996 Park Improvement Program. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None.
