<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />February 10, 1997 <br /> <br />F-3 <br /> <br />Wi ski moved, Goedeke seconded, that the selection of firms to be included in <br />Roseville's 1997 through 1999 Consulting Engineer Pool be approved, and <br />authorizing the Public Works Director and City Manager to sign a general <br />engineering contract with each firm on behalf of the City. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Council decided to move to Item G, RECOGNITIONS, at this time and move <br />Item F-4 to K-1, Reports and Recommendations (Continued, If Necessary). <br /> <br />G. <br />G-1 <br /> <br />RECOGNITIONS <br />The Roseville Human Rights Commission Essay Contest Award winners were <br />introduced to the Council by Issac Afwerke, member of the Human Rights <br />Commission, and read their essays. The winners were: First Place: John Huss, <br />St. Rose of Lima, $50 and Certificate of Award; Second Place: Katie Zerwas, <br />Parkview Center School, $35.00 and Certificate of Award; and Third Place: Dan <br />Ridge, St. Rose of Lima, $20.00 and Certificate of Award. Honorable Mention <br />Certificates were presented to: Bonnie Goranowski, Amanda Hutchings, Lars <br />Nelson, and Jen Rookstool, all of St. Rose of Lima. <br /> <br />G-2 <br /> <br />Police Officer Bob Hawley was introduced by Police Chief Paul Wood. Officer <br />Hawley was chosen by the Juvenile Officer Association of Minnesota as <br />Juvenile Officer of the Year and was presented with a plaque. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed for a 10 minute break at 8:40 p.m. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />H-2 Wi ski moved, Mastel seconded, that Resolution 9378, ordering Project P-97-02, RESOLUTION <br />Neighborhoods 38, 42, and 43, be adopted.
