<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Jonathan and Masumi Abeler's
<br />request for a minor variance to reduce the front yard setback to 25 feet for the
<br />purpose of constructing an addition on a nonconforming two family residential
<br />structure at 2339 Roselawn Avenue be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke,
<br />Wiski, Maschka, and Mastel. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that David and Bonnie Ringsred's
<br />request for a minor variance to allow the relocation arid placement of a
<br />residential driveway less than 30 feet from the right-of-way of the intersection
<br />of Minnesota Avenue W. and Western Avenue N. at 2270 Western Avenue N.
<br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wi ski, Maschka, and Mastel. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that following blanket minor variances
<br />for driveway side yard setbacks in conjunction with street work being done in
<br />the community be approved: Willard Guse, 321 N. McCarrons Boulevard W.;
<br />Richard and Sharon Hill, 226 N. McCarrons Boulevard W.; and Peter Jamma,
<br />386 N. McCarrons Boulevard W. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka,
<br />and Mastel. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that the hearing and decision process on
<br />the Iona Lane vacation be officially terminated and staff be directed to provide
<br />a schedule for new notice and hearing later in 1997. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke,

<br />C-IO Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that Midland Hills Country Club's request MIDLAND HILLS
<br />to connect its bathroom facility building, located at the southwest corner of the COUNTRY CLUB
<br />golf course, to St. Paul Water for the purpose of domestic service be approved
<br />with the following condition: Midland Hills Country Club shall connect to
<br />Roseville water when and if it becomes available. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke,
<br />Wiski, Maschka, and Mastel. Nays: None.

<br />approving the Minnesota Korean War Veterans' Chapter 1 request to conduct
<br />lawful gambling activities on December 9, 1997 at the Rosetown American
<br />Legion, 700 County Road C, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski,
<br />Maschka, and Mastel. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, that a one day off-site lawful gambling
<br />permit request by Rosetown American Legion Post 542, to conduct a raffle at
<br />the Roseville Fire Department, 2701 N. Lexington Avenue, on October 5, 1997
<br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka, and Mastel. Nays:
<br />None.
