REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />F-1 Mastel moved, Goedeke seconded, that Robert and Elaine Bever's request for ROBERT AND <br />a parking pad at 330 South McCarrons Boulevard be continued to the regular ELAINE BEVER <br />City Council meeting of Monday, November 10,1997. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, <br />Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />F-2 <br /> <br />G. <br />G-1 <br /> <br />Mastel moved, Maschka seconded, that the City Manager and Mayor be <br />authorized to exercise the option for purchase of the Herman Zuettel property <br />at 1966 North Chatsworth for a neighborhood park in the amount of $399,000, <br />plus additional closing costs and lifetime estate for Herman Zuettel, with the <br />funds to be taken from the Parks and Recreation Infrastructure Fund. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Wiski, Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />HERMAN <br />ZUETTEL <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br />RECOGNITIONS <br />Dennis Welsch, Community Development Director, stated three planning <br />officials from Osaka Prefecture in Japan recently visited Roseville to learn <br />more about the planning process and were especially impressed with our GIS <br />Program. <br /> <br />JAPANESE <br />VISITORS <br /> <br />G-2 Mayor Dan Wall presented Finance Director Ed Burrell and the Finance FINANCE <br />Department with a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the DEPARTMENT <br />Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. A WARD <br />A Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reports was presented <br />by Nick Ensrude, Assistant Finance Director, to Aaron Seeley of the Finance <br />Department for his work on the budget. <br /> <br />H. HEARINGS <br />H-1 Wiski moved, Maschka seconded, that Lake Ridge Health Care Center's LAKE RIDGE <br />request for withdrawal of their proposed parking lot expansion at 2727 North HEALTH CARE <br />Victoria be approved, letters sent to the neighborhood affected, and a letter of CENTER <br />commendation sent to Lake Ridge. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Maschka, Goedeke, <br />Mastel, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />J. <br />J-1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, that Ordinance 1189, repealing Chapters <br />1204 and 1205 of the Roseville City Code, which provides for local regulation <br />of the public right-of-way by franchise, be adopted.
